Cub Scouts…

Cub Scouts, aged 8-10 ½, belong to the second section of the Scout movement and meet in Packs.

Cub Scouts work towards badges such as the Creative, Fitness, Outdoor or Community Challenge Badges. They earn these by helping to plan a camp, learning new things, for example what it’s like to be a Cub Scout in another country and discovering and mastering new skills and lighting fires.

There is a huge range of activities for Cubs!

At their meetings in their Group hut, at a local camp site or at their local park, they gain self-confidence and develop strong friendships.

In Sandwell Cubs camp under canvas, go for hikes , cook outdoors, and practice bicycle maintenance; participate in District events, such as a sports day or a arts and craft day; and attend County events such as County Cub Scout Camp.

For more information, please contact the District Cub Scout Leader.
